Training

The goal of training under the Master Franchise Model is to “train the trainer” so that your in-country leadership can develop the same high performing teams that deliver category leading results and premium guest experiences.

This starts with senior leaders completing a full digital program through our digital web/mobile learning environment: LearnMB Digital Training Platform. This multimedia platform is used to deliver a comprehensive program that all staff must pass before attending live training.

Select leaders then attend our best-in-class 3-week Training Course program at our training center in Canada. The training includes seminars, 1-on-1 sessions and classroom style courses on all aspects of our business and related systems. Learn about every aspect of your Mary Brown’s operation:

  • Back of house food preparation, inventory, and supply management
  • Effective business management and office procedures
  • Staff hiring, training, retention and development
  • Guest focused, service-centric front of house hospitality

Real Estate & Construction

Our real estate specialists work with your team and local agents to choose locations that meet your criteria and ours – taking into account demographics, traffic patterns, visibility and much more.

Our construction team is actively involved with the build of your MB Chicken locations so that no detail is overlooked and to ensure the effective transfer of relevant knowledge to your staff and external development partners.

Launch and Grand Opening Support

Once the initial location is constructed, our team will be on the ground in the lead up to and after the grand opening.

Supply Chain

Our purchasing and supply chain team will work with your team to ensure the highest quality products are available for all Mary Brown’s menu items, reflecting market conditions and industry trends. Suppliers are carefully selected for optimal quality, competitive pricing and reliable service.

The goal is to source as much of our food and equipment locally as possible. This increases supply chain resilience, controls costs, reduces foreign exchange exposure and demonstrates support of local economies.

All locations and Sub-Franchisees must use Mary Brown’s suppliers to ensure consistent product and service across your market.

Marketing

MB Chicken marketing is focused on driving sales and growing brand awareness. The MB Marketing team will support and guide you through effective strategies to be used in your markets, including:

  • Grand opening events, public relations efforts and media support to attract huge crowds.
  • Data driven high impact multi-media marketing programs including a full mix of channels to optimize impact and get the most out of marketing spend.
  • Location-specific programs are built to drive traffic and increase sales within a community or for a particular store.
  • Effective use of LTO’s and other promotional strategies to drive frequency and increased average sped.
