Meet Rob Sills

Our Franchisee at 32 Cromer Avenue, Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland & Labrador

Rob has been operating this location in Grand Falls-Windsor for 7 years, a legacy he proudly took over from his father, who operated it for several decades prior. In fact, Rob grew up with the Mary Brown’s brand and is thrilled to be at the helm of a successful location. He has a deep devotion to the communities he serves in central Newfoundland, his team and of course, his Guests.

Pride in Our Brand

Rob is a strong believer in Mary Brown’s menu and everything we stand for as a brand. He takes great pride in giving a Guest or a new team member a tour of his store, showing them just how different Mary Brown’s is from our competitors. Whether it’s our Made Fresh from Scratch mandate, our culture of caring or our Truly Canadian difference, Rob believes that Mary Brown’s stands alone.

Community Minded

As an ‘Operator Who Cares’, Rob often supports and sponsors community events and individuals in central Newfoundland.  He hosts events in-store to raise money for charitable causes as well as donating prizes and food to many groups in communities throughout the area. Rob believes that giving back is more than a privilege – it’s a responsibility that he takes very seriously.

Team Oriented

Rob has a diverse team who helps him deliver great experiences to his Guests. He strives to help his team achieve what they want in their careers and in the big picture of their lives. For some, Mary Brown’s is a stepping stone to another career, and for others, they want to move up within the ranks of the store and Mary Brown’s as an organization. Either way, Rob empowers his staff to always give their best effort.

Guest Experience

Rob leads by example, ensuring that his entire team is focused on delivering a fantastic Guest experience every time. They provide great food and helpful service – and that trademark ‘Honest to Goodness’ Newfoundland hospitality!
